World's Oldest Video Game Champion Still Young At Heart

The Funspot Family Entertainment Center in Weirs Beach will once again be the location for a feature film shoot.

Harbor House Pictures, a film production company located in Westchester, NY will be coming to Funspot, Tuesday through Saturday, March 25th -29th to film their next feature, "Altar of the Unnamed."

The film is the story of a teenager who is obsessed with playing video games and is directed by Mike May, A.K.A. Your Local Filmmaker.

Last year the documentary “King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters,” which was filmed partially at Funspot, opened to critical acclaim and was even considered to be an Oscar contender. The true story about the battle to be the champion of the classic video game “Donkey Kong” was filmed during the American Classic Arcade Museum’s Annual Classic Video and Pinball Tournament in 2005. The Museum is located on the third floor of Funspot and hosts over 250 working classic games that were made no later than 1987.
